Promeco Engineering Srl is a company with a high technological know-how, able to develop and manufacture highly sophisticated machines and plants for the treatment of the impact of the surfaces (compressed air and wheels).
Thanks to a solid background of competences and technical experience, gained in decades of active involvement in the design and manufacture of sandblasting machines and shot blast machines, our company is one of the few companies able to cover a wide range of applications, presenting itself to all potential world-wide customers as the ideal partner for analysing, studying and solve the most varied needs related to the metal surfaces impact treatment.
The technical know-how, experience and determination allow our company to offer products that can always guarantee the highest quality and functionality, thanks to the use of innovation and new technological solutions able to ensure long lasting and excellent results in terms of productivity.
Our company covers an area of 4.500 sqm, 2.000 sqm of which are for the production plant, 350 sqm for offices and the remaining area for warehouse and parking.
The geographic position of Promeco Engineering in the neighbourhood of Milan, east side, allows an easy connection with the most important highways, underground and airports of Milan area.

HISTORY
Our company born in the late ’30s, when the founder Alfredo Ambrogi opened his first individual company, Ambrogi Milano.
In the fifties, with the development of the business, it became a corporation and changed its name to Ameco. Thanks to a profitable collaboration with a prestigious brand of sandblasting machines, Promotec and its subsequent merger, Promeco SpA was founded at the end of the 1980s.
In 1991 the company Promeco Engineering Srl is founded (part Carlo Banfi SpA company group, historic brand of primary importance in this industry) that has been able to inherit an enormous technological background and knowledge, gained in some decades of experience after the closing of the previous company’s activity.
PRODUCTION
The technology used for the construction of blasting machines or systems (whether by means of compressed air or wheels launch) is apparently simple.
However, in the working process there are some problems that are sometimes difficult to solve, such as: the constant uniformity of sandblasting, the excessive wear of the components for the abrasive launch, the perfect dedusting of the workplace and further needs involving considerable technical engagement.
Our machines, entirely designed and manufactured in Italy with the best quality materials, have always been synonymous with reliability and innovation.
ENVIROMENTAL ECONOMY
Promeco Engineering S.r.l. is very environmentally aware.
The sensitivity respect to protection of the environment can be seen from the important investment made at the end of 2011 aimed at creating a photovoltaic system that “uses” an inexhaustible source such as the sun to produce clean electricity.
A small part of this energy is used for the daily course of business; most of it is fed into the network for consumption by other users.
